Thanks to All-In-One CAPM(R)/PMP(R) Project Management Certification I passed my CAPM exam on the first try! I agree that, much of the time, the PMBOK is not a complete read. I gladly referred to your resource for clarification–especially regarding schedule and cost management techniques. While I wish the final practice exam incorporated questions that were not on the initial practice exam, I also learned a lot from taking and re-taking the practice exams. Thanks for making the exam portion of the certification process so much easier for us newbies. The book and CD is worth every penny! Regards,

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your work on the All-In-One CAPM/PMP Project Management Certification Exam Guide Second Edition. Wow that is a long title! Ever since taking a Project Management class at Full Sail University which gave me the required hours to take the CAPM exam, I wanted to further my training. After graduating from Full Sail in February I studied your book for one month before my scheduled test. Your book takes concepts and tools from the PMBOK (which is a very hard read as you know) and puts the information into easy-to-understand concepts and explanations on how principles and tools are used clearly and concisely. It really is a great resource for decoding the PMBOK and providing better learning of the material.

I began my journey to becoming a PMP nearly a year ago after taking a PMP prep course (which happened to be for the 3rd edition of the PMBOK at the time) that also happened to be a part of my MBA program in graduate school. Prior to that class, I thought the notion of managing people sounded interesting, and so, I decided to make it my concentration. Little did I know how much I would grow to love the idea of becoming a project manager and facilitating work that would benefit a great number of people.
Fast forward to May 3, 2010. I am an officially certified PMP. I went through two independent audits (my student application, as well as my credential application), and very little studying. I spent about 20 hours across the week prior cramming with the help of the videos you have provided free of cost on your website. I can not stress enough how much you helped me pass the certification. For that, I am most appreciative. While I didn’t purchase any of your retail materials, I feel it is only right that I buy them now, as I could not have accomplished this feat without them. You can expect a few purchases from me in the near future.

So, I thought, I need to find something more understandable to supplement that book. Thanks to your bootcamp, I was able to pass the PMP exam the FIRST time. I appreciated that you were able to communicate the PMBOK in “english” in a way that I could understand. Just wanted to tell you thank you very much for answering my question, I was pleasantly surprised that you were able to answer my question at the time I needed it. I passed my CAPM test! I loved your book, and I really enjoyed how you injected some humor into it. The practice exams were quite helpful, my only feedback about these would be that once you take it first time, the times after, the questions are same or similar, so although it challenged me, is it possible to add more questions to the test so that every 2 hr test is a different challenge?
I will happily and definitely recommend your book and programs to anybody. I am keeping your book as one of my main reference, of course I like it much better than the PMBOK! I am glad your book comes with a cd, that was also very helpful in increasing my confidence of taking the test. Thanks again.
