Testimonials
Here are some reports from happy people that have used my training, books, and online resources:

Hey Joe – I feel like I know you now after following your videos and Prep Kit. Thanks to you I have passed the PMP Exam! I used your videos and the Prep Kit only. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
-Mark King, PMP

Dear Mr. Phillips, thank you for the PMP Prep Kit. I followed your advice in the kit, watched your videos, and then passed the PMP. I think you made the process so much easier than I thought it would be. Thank you,
-LY, PMP

I found Joseph Phillips materials to be a huge help while studying the PMP materials. I especially liked his exercises and the web content. They both help make the material a lot more understandable. His materials also helped me study; I highly recommend them!

Thanks to All-In-One CAPM(R)/PMP(R) Project Management Certification I passed my CAPM exam on the first try! I agree that, much of the time, the PMBOK is not a complete read. I gladly referred to your resource for clarification–especially regarding schedule and cost management techniques. While I wish the final practice exam incorporated questions that were not on the initial practice exam, I also learned a lot from taking and re-taking the practice exams. Thanks for making the exam portion of the certification process so much easier for us newbies. The book and CD is worth every penny! Regards,

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your work on the All-In-One CAPM/PMP Project Management Certification Exam Guide Second Edition. Wow that is a long title! Ever since taking a Project Management class at Full Sail University which gave me the required hours to take the CAPM exam, I wanted to further my training. After graduating from Full Sail in February I studied your book for one month before my scheduled test. Your book takes concepts and tools from the PMBOK (which is a very hard read as you know) and puts the information into easy-to-understand concepts and explanations on how principles and tools are used clearly and concisely. It really is a great resource for decoding the PMBOK and providing better learning of the material.
-Jarret Ford, MS, CAPM

I just finished reading your article, “Project Management Models, Certifications and the Pyramids,” on the ProjectSmart.co.uk website.  Maybe it’s the New Yorker in me, and maybe it’s because I’ve read hundreds of PM articles on all kinds of topics, that I can say confidently that your article is the best out there regarding PM models and certifications.  It’s straight up advice and I like that. I’m looking forward to reading your other works.

I began my journey to becoming a PMP nearly a year ago after taking a PMP prep course (which happened to be for the 3rd edition of the PMBOK at the time) that also happened to be a part of my MBA program in graduate school. Prior to that class, I thought the notion of managing people sounded interesting, and so, I decided to make it my concentration. Little did I know how much I would grow to love the idea of becoming a project manager and facilitating work that would benefit a great number of people.

Fast forward to May 3, 2010. I am an officially certified PMP. I went through two independent audits (my student application, as well as my credential application), and very little studying. I spent about 20 hours across the week prior cramming with the help of the videos you have provided free of cost on your website. I can not stress enough how much you helped me pass the certification. For that, I am most appreciative. While I didn’t purchase any of your retail materials, I feel it is only right that I buy them now, as I could not have accomplished this feat without them. You can expect a few purchases from me in the near future.

Again, thank you for you help and your altruism to the project management community.

First, I love your book.  I’m in the middle of a PMP Prep course and using the PMBOK as my only resource.  I feel dumb.  So, I thought, I need to find something more understandable to supplement that book.  I found yours and am loving the simple ways you take to describe what I feel has become a more complicated process than it needs to.  Maybe I’m wrong, but I think your book is worth its weight in gold.
-Stephenie Young, PMP

Some of the most concise, accurate and informative study material for the PMP. Joseph Phillips has cut out the waste and waffle, and provided an excellent set of learning materials that will teach and equip you for your exam and your role as a project manager.
